The entire process needs great care, a trained eye for detail and considerable experience. In fact, the properties of individual bark sheets from the same harvest batch can vary quite notably. Some reasons could be the tree's location, its growing conditions and its age.
This is why at each production phase the products are checked for dampness and humidity, any abnormalities and deformities, the laminary structure, and where necessary appropriate measures are taken. Only in this way can we be sure of always offering products of the highest possible quality to our customers. It is not possible to achieve this with automated production processes.
